Question:

Too early for Ski trip?

It looks as though there is already a decent amount of snow fall, and that ski resorts are already open. Can anyone suggest a good ski resort that is within easy reach of Tokyo?

  • I went to Hakuba in northern Nagano prefecture for a few days over the New Year's break. I can highly recommend it.Various resorts offering some great terrain, and fantastic snow. The Azusa express train from Shinjuku goes directly there. It takes around 6 beers to get there. ah, I mean 3 hours.
