The Nagoya International Club’s next event will be the Okehazama Battlefield Festival on Sunday June 6th. The festival offers a samurai parade, and a battle re-enactment, but wait, there’s more! For being avid followers of us here at Japan Info Swap and the X-Pat Files, we will throw in an additional flea market, and stage performances at no extra charge! The club will be meeting at 11AM at the gold clock in front of the Takashimaya Department Store at JR Nagoya Station, on the white tiles in front of the escalators if we can fit.
From June 1st, the way Nagoya residents dispose of their dangerous garbage (spray cans, lighters, non-rechargable lithium batteries etc as pictured above), will CHANGE.
Until now these items have been put out on non-burnable day, but from June 1st, these items must be put out on the same day as Burnable garbage, but in a different pile.
Baseball is a Japanese national pastime and a really fun day out. Buying your tickets online, in person and at the convenience store is not as complicated as it looks. Taking a Japanese friend with you will always help, but there is more than one way to get the baseball tickets you need this season!
The World Cosplay Summit will be held July 31-August 1 at various Nagoya City locations including Nishiki Boulevard, Osu shopping district, and Oasis 21
