Upcoming Events from The Obvious Circus

Daniel Ostrander from The Obvious Circus has been traveling a bit lately and apologizes for his continued absence. It seems he been more away than present in 2010 so far, but that is about to change. As the Obvious Circus Events Calendar nears its 3 year anniversary, they are gearing up to expand the reader base, and bring you more live, DJ, art & cultural events than ever! 2010 is going to be an exciting year, and no one gets you the details of that excitement faster & freer than The Obvious Circus!

Although Valentine’s Day is over, we hope you all had a great day were able to spend time with the one(s) you love. There were plenty of things to do last weekend and we hope you got out and enjoyed at least one of them. For this posting, there are two upcoming events we would like to highlight, as they are both for a good cause and hopefully this early announcement will provide you with plenty of time to schedule time to attend.

The recent devastating earthquake in Haiti has many of us asking, “How can I help?” In answer to this, there are several upcoming opportunities to donate money, goods & time to help this struggling nation. We don’t have all the details yet, but please keep checking Japan Info Swap and to find out more about how you can do your part. Mark them on your calendar now!

Sunday, February 28
Haiti HOPE Benefit @ Shooters
Local artist Robert Moore, in conjunction with HOPE International, is helping to bring together a lot of local talent to help raise money for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. Several bands & musicians are to be announced in soon and will be held at Shooters Bar and Grill.

ROCK THIS TOWN @ Hard Rock Café
If you haven’t heard, there is a new magazine in town – RAN – and they are producing and promoting this event. Fatblueman, Blanka, Mike Wade, Bone Zero, Jet Shamisen, The Tomo Shagger Tribute Band, and Unsound (unconfirmed) have already been connected to this FREE night of rock music aimed to raise awareness, food & money for the survivors in Haiti. Donations of all kinds will be welcome. For more information on the event go here: ROCK THIS TOWN
